The concept
“Voices of Water” is a series of interviews aiming to “give voice” to people on water issues. Our goal is to give the floor to people involved in different activities related to water, asking them a set of questions to understand what they think about the current challenges and which solutions they foresee/recommend. Moreover, the second half of the interview is dedicated to the presentation of what they do (activities, projects, etc) and who they are.
What we want to offer is a multifaceted picture of several viewpoints on the water challenges – from all sectors of society, from experts to students, from civil servants to NGOs, from artists to businesses, from journalists to ordinary people… We want to know how water issues are perceived across Europe, what the main challenges are, how Europeans expect or hope the future will look like, what is known about existent best and worst practices and what would make people change their behavior.
By collecting different perspectives and personal experiences we wish to trigger interest and curiosity as well as stimulate the debate on these crucial issues.
