EXCLUSIVE AIRPORT VISIT
BLUE PLANET Excursion April 26th, 9:30-14:30 Berlin Brandenburg Airport
When thinking about airports, one rarely considers the essential role of water. However, for airports as for all other sectors and society, Water Stewardship is vital in their day to day activities. EWP is proud to contribute its expert knowledge to the conference and excursion co-organized with Blue Planet Airports as Water Stewards: Managing Sustainability in Europe.
This international conference will provide a platform for all stakeholders linked to airport management to present and discuss water challenges and opportunities. Airport representatives, public institutions, consultancies and policy drivers will share their on-site experiences and promote best practices or tools like the European Water Stewardship standard. Conference participants will exchange views on tailored response strategies to improve the sector’s water management performance. Airport managers from different European regions will disclose their journey in becoming a “European Water Steward”.
The highlight will be an exclusive guided tour to visit the water management system installed at the newly constructed Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER).
This two-day event is part of the interactive BLUE PLANET format which enables market-leading business, institutions and organizations to directly exchange their experiences, expertise and promote sustainable solutions.
