The first edition of the International Water Week (IWW) aims to present integrated solutions, presenting a holistic approach to solve the water challenges in a changing world.  It represents the ideal forum for the international water sector, bringing together businesses, non-profit organisations, government agencies and scientists to explore practical solutions to various global water issues.

This six-day event will be a platform for the entire water industry and includes the internationally renowned Aquatech Amsterdam trade exhibition, the Aquaterra conference on water and coasts, plus an extensive conference and workshop programme.

The European Water Partnership convenes two sessions at this major international conference:

• 1 November 14.00-17.30 STREAM Policy Seminar – State of the Art in Urban Water Management. Speakers include representatives from the European Commission (DG Environment), leading EU Research projects (SWITCH, GreenClimeAdapt and THESEUS) and leading cities on urban water management (Rotterdam, Rybnyk and Talinn). • 2 November 11.30-13.00: European Water Stewardship – the practical tool for implementing sustainable water management in Industry and Agriculture. Speakers include representatives from BASF, the Coca-Cola Company and other leading industries involved in the European Water Stewardship Program.
