Water MBA
The Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM), Wetsus, the European Water Partnership (EWP) and seven further founding partners joined their expertise and launched a new Executive MBA program that focuses on the water business. The program startet in January 2011 and offers a higher management education to companies in the water business.
The program is tailored to international oriented and talented business people who wish to develop their activities in the global water business. With a strong emphasis on leadership development in an international environment, the aim of the EMBA Water Specialization program is to reflect and further expand on issues related to water quality, distribution and availability. Moreover, the goal is to provide insights into state-of-the-art technological and managerial aspects of operating successfully in the industry.
Participants will take part in the first two terms of the Executive MBA Program at RSM. The third term of Advanced Courses, specializing in the water business, will be modular in format and will take place at Wetsus in Leeuwarden. Moreover, two international modules of one week in each year of the program will take place in locations that are known to have major water challenges. These modules will focus on the water sector specifically and exclusively. Business cases, guided visits to plants and lectures from expert business people in the water sector will make up a substantial part of these international modules. The In-Company project, supervised by an RSM faculty member, will also be in specialized water topics.
Other founding partners include Aquatech, Evides, Grontmij, Norit, Paques, Philips and Vitens.
