The European Water Stewardship will start a cooperation with WLN from the Netherlands.
WLN has signed a cooperation agreement last week, joining the fast growing network of accredited companies that support organizations to implement and improve their sustainable water management. Hilde Prummel, director of WLN: “We provide advisory services on water quality and water treatment to several organizations and companies. The European Water Stewardship offers the opportunity to address improving water management in a structured and integral manner. In that way, EWS offers an added value to our customers.”
Tom Vereijken, director EWS is enthusiastic about the new partnership. “WLN fits perfectly within our European network of implementation-partners and control bodies. Being one of the four recognized drinking water laboratories in the Netherlands, they have developed into a high-level centre for water quality and water technology over the last decades”
WLN is an independent partner in research and consultancy for drinking water, industry water and waste water. Being the centre for water quality and water technology, WLN carries out analyses of all types of water and advises on water treatment. WLN does this on commission and in cooperation with partners in the water chain, authorities, knowledge institutions and enterprises. Besides offering its services to the water companies of Groningen and Drenthe, WLN clients include waterboards, governments, research institutes and companies. Over the last 5 years, EWS has supported over 100 organizations in Europe to improve their water management in a both economic and environmental sustainable manner.
