Sustainable Water Management Ensuring Economic Stability for the Food Sector

Within the food and beverage sector there is a commonly held view that there are no longer significant gains to be made in the field of water-quality, process water or waste-water. However, recent experiences on the basis of the European Water Stewardship show otherwise.  A structured approach to water management can in fact have huge benefits for the food- and beverage-industry, including the recovery of nutrients and the reduction of waste and reuse of processed water.

To inform about these opportunities, Food Valley NL, the Centre of Expertise Watertechnology (CEW) and the European Water Stewardship (EWS) will organise an event for companies in the food sector in Wageningen, The Netherlands on the 10th of May. At this event you will be informed about current developments on water management in the food sector and opportunities for you to improve the water management in your organisation.
