Updated 13.01.2014. Young Europeans are the decision makers of the future. The European Water Partnership (EWP) acknowledges the commitment to promote and enhance a better involvement of young Europeans in global water issues. Aquawareness creates competitions to give the floor to young inhabitants to express their views on water via cinematography.
The video contest ‘Watch your Water’ is all about water: the water we drink; the water we use for all the things we do in our daily lives; and the water that farmers and manufacturers use to bring us our clothes and our food products.
Create a short movie where you show us how we can use our water resources better; how we can save and conserve water; how we can live and enjoy life whilst at the same time, be aware of the water in our environments; what the challenges are that we all face regarding the availability or scarcity of water. Show us how you see the future of our planet through better water practices.
Do you have a brilliant idea for a movie and do you want enter the competition? Record a short video of maximum 3 minutes that addresses a small or bigger water challenge in your environment and enter the competition at www.facebook.com/aquawareness. There are many aspects of water use and water conservation that you can capture on film!
This video contest is organized by the European Water Partnership within the framework of the Aquawareness programme. The deadline for submission has been extended to the 28th February 2014.
