The STREAM Project is organizing its 3rd Policy Seminar on “The Climate Change Challenges and Managing Flood Risks in Member States” on the 17th of December 2012, from 15.00 to 17.30 at the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the EU in Brussels (Rue Belliard 60-62, 1040 Brussels).

Speakers will be:

Mr. BD Wolfgang Hennegriff, State Institute for Environmental Protection Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Ms. Carmen de Jong, Professor, Mountain Centre, University of Savoy

Mr. Jan Bondaruk, Researcher of the Central Mining Institute in Katowice, Head of the department of Water Protection, Poland

Mr. Philip Weller, Executive Secretary, International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR)

Mr. Millán Millán, Honorary Director, Center for Environmental Studies of the Mediterranean, Valencia

Moderation by Ðœr. Murray Biedler, EWP Climate Change & Water expert

The seminar will bring together representatives of the European Parliament, national policy makers and researchers who will present results on flood risk management and climate change.
