Water Management Performance & Supply Chain: A Relation “Forever Together-Apart”?
Interactive Stakeholder Discussion with Networking Aperitif
World Water Week, organized by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), is one of the leading annual global meetings on important water topics. It is structured as an open platform where over 2,000 participants from the scientific community, private companies, policy and civil society entities convene to exchange and promote ideas on sustainable water management. This exchange has become central for the follow up of international processes and programs taking place in water and development. This 2012 edition of the conference has the important thematic scope of “Water and Food Security”.
Taking up one of the biggest opportunities and in the same time one of the biggest challenges regarding food supply and water management, European Water Stewardship (EWS) organizes on Tuesday, the 28th of August 2012, 17.30-19.00, a dynamic stakeholder discussion in the Rica Talk Hotel (Mässvägen 2, SE-125 80 Stockholm) on how to integrate effectively but also realistically supply chain aspects into the evaluation of water management performances of industries. Representatives of agriculture, industries, NGOs and municipalities are invited to share their experiences and reflections on this issue. We are looking forward to discussing this ‘hot topic’ in Stockholm!
