EWS side event at International Water Week Amsterdam, The Netherlands

As part of the Conference Program of the Amsterdam International Water Week, the European Water Stewardship (EWS) program will organize a session called “EWS – The practical tool for implementing sustainable water management in industry and agriculture”. The session will take place on the second day of the IWW conference, on the 2nd of November, from 11.30 – 13.00.
The concept of European Water Stewardship (EWS) is a driving force to promote sustainable water management in water-using companies across sectors. This session will discuss the recent development within the EWP-led European Water Stewardship Program, present the results of a number of pilot projects, and discuss the potential of EWS to concretely improve the operational sustainable water management of companies in different sectors.
This session will include presentations from concrete projects from the food and beverage sector (Coca Cola), the chemical sector (BASF), the agricultural sector and the paper sector.
