Give your opinion! Interactive EWP session at Stockholm World Water Week: 22.08.2011, 12.15-13.15

Jul 14th, 2011 |

Brussels, 14 July 2011. The EWP Water Stewardship team is delighted to invite you to the interactive EWP side event “Piloting Water Stewardship in Urban Zones” at Stockholm World Water Week, on Monday, 22nd of August 2011, at 12.15-13.15 (room will be announced soon). It will be a pleasure to welcome you for a lunch snack and dynamic discussions.

The EWP will present challenges encountered in launching Water Stewardship in Urban Zones. In the panel discussion, urban organizations, city representatives and urban areas water cycle researchers will present their experiences with launching Integrated Water Management initiatives in Urban Zones, discussing challenges relevant to their particular case.

GIVE YOUR OPINION: WHAT DO YOU THINK, ARE THE MOST PRESSING ISSUES?

The European Water Partnership, as part of its initiative to launch Water Stewardship Standards in Urban Zones, hosted a Working Group on Sustainable Water Management in Urban and Rural Areas. The Working Group identified 10 key gaps and challenges for Urban Areas to achieve an integrated Sustainable Water Management and a successful implementation of the Water Framework Directive.

Now your opinion is needed!

Express your views on the major gaps for Urban Areas and participate in the EWP online survey. Please click here and choose 3 priority gaps or challenges from the list, which should not take longer than 5 minutes. The results of this survey will be taken into account for the strategic follow up of the Water Stewardship group and be published on our website. Please note that the deadline for participation is the Monday, the 22nd of August 2011.

We are looking forward to your feedback!
