Brussels, 13 June 2011. Ms. Gema San Bruno will from now on support the Management of the European Water Partnership (EWP). As Executive Manager of the EWP, she will from now on be in charge of the everyday coordination and management of the EWP Brussels office in terms of staff, programs and budget.
Ms. San Bruno joined the EWP in 2010 as coordinator of the European Water House project which is still under her supervision. Before joining the EWP, she was working at the Renewable Energy House as Secretary General of ESHA (European Small Hydropower Association) in Brussels. Ms. San Bruno is an economist with experience in energy related issues since 1997 and with particular focus on renewable energy deployment in the European Union. In 2002, she decided to concentrate her career on the hydropower sector what has contributed to enrich her knowledge on water-energy related issues and in particular on sustainable water management. Therefore, she decided to join the water community and to focus on sustainable water management in order to complete her experience in the field of renewable energy with another challenging area under the same resource efficiency objectives.
