Brussels, 20 March 2011. The certification body Control Union Certification (CUC) became an official partner of the EWP Water Stewardship Program. Its knowledge and expertise provides a highly valuable input for the development of the EWP Water Stewardship scheme. This scheme comprises the European Water Stewardship Standard, the referring glossary and guideline documents, the inspection and certification process and the communication guidelines. CUC will perform the audits and evaluations for the Water Stewardship pilot studies in order to simulate at best the reality of an independent, third party certification process.
