Brussels, 3 August 2010. The International Water Association (IWA), together with the Canadian Water and Wastewater Association (CWWA) and the Canadian Association on Water Quality (CAWQ), organizes its biennial IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition in Montreal, Canada, from 19th to 24th September 2010.
This international event is expected to attract 4.500 water professionals, organisations and global decision makers in Water Technology and Innovation from over 100 countries to exchange ideas and debate solutions for the entire water sector.
The Congress programme will allow to explore current and future sector challenges through a series of key themes: water; climate and energy; cities of the future; managing utilities and their assets; securing new and traditional water resources for the future; water, ecosystems and catchments; water and health; and the science and application of water management.
Keynote speakers are world-renowned experts in their fields and represent some of the world’s leading institutions and political bodies:
