Work Placement French Students – ADAST Programme
Jan 5th, 2010 |
The European Water Partnership is cooperating with the French ADAST programme – the Agence pour le Developpement en Aquitane des Stages Transnationaux. The mission of ADAST is to provide students from the Aquitaine region with the opportunity to gather professional experience abroad, specifically focusing on the water sector. ADAST is supported by the EC Leonardo programme.
In 2010, ADAST therefore offers again to support a number of French students who are looking for a work placement abroad. These students are two years postgraduate students who all have had a work placement of ten or more weeks in France and are qualified to execute activities in management, communication, advice, development of studies and techniques or quality-insurance.
If your company would be interested in hosting a French student in a six-month work placement, we would like to ask you to send an email to Harro Riedstra (firstname.lastname@example.org). As the skills and competences of the students vary, this email would serve to show your principal interest in the programme. Please indicate in the email what kind of skills you would be looking for in a student. On the basis of this emails we will then share the CV’s of the French students applying for ADAST with you and we can set up direct contacts with any interesting candidates.
ADAST supports the travel expenses, living expenses and social security expenses of the students. The only expense on your organisation could be (voluntarily) a reward for the work done by the student.
For more information, please see the ADAST flyer.
