“Jacqueline McGlade vision mapping interview”
Nov 25th, 2009 |
In the series of interviews for the vision mapping process, a project started by the EWP to elaborate the strengths and weaknesses as well as actions needed in order to implement the aims of the Water Vision for Europe by 2030, Prof. McGlade* was arguing that the Vision is highly important to create a composite idea of water. In order to achieve sustainable water management a combined package is necessary including changing behavior, new technologies and best available information. Further she was stressing the idea of treating water like a bank account – people have to know how much water they have as an asset, how much they are using and is this continuing into the future.
