On  6^th of November 2009 in Brussels will take place the European Water Association’s  annual conference: “European Water Management and the Implementation of the Floods Directive”.

This year’s goal is to  explore further the implementation of sustainable water management and the Water Framework Directive  by discussing the aspects of flood protection and implementation of flood policies. The conference, organised in cooperation with the European Commission, will include a keynote address by Dr Fritz Holzwarth, contributions from experts in the field and will end with a Panel Discussion with all speakers participating.

The 5^th EWA Brussels conference will bring people closer to the aspects of flood policy associated with the Water Framework Directive.
