The Castellón County Council of Spain became a new partner of the EWP Water Stewardship

“The EWP is the main forum for cooperation on sustainable water management at the European level” said the Vice President of the Castellón County Council, Mr. Francisco Martinez.
The Castellón County Council (Diputación de Castellón) signed yesterday a partnership agreement with the European Water Partnership, becoming the first Spanish local administration body to cooperate within Water Stewardship as part of the initiated project module “Communication of Sustainable Water Management” of the EWP Aquawareness Programme. Mr. Tom Vereijken, Chairman of EWP, welcomed the Spanish delegation expressing his joy “to working together with frontrunners well recognized throughout Europe for their experience and work”.
The Castellón County Council is a Spanish Public Administration with own legal entity that has among its objectives “to grant suitable and integral assistance to the whole territory of the province for the provision of services under municipal competence, including water supply and sewerage”.
The EWP warmly welcomes this new Partner to the Stewardship programme and looks forward to start this fruitful cooperation!
