On the 22nd of March the Aquawareness Policy Forum “Water 2030 – Who Cares?” will take place in Brussels. Registration for this event will be open till the end of this week, and limited places are still available. Please download the registration form here, or follow this link for more information.
The Aquawareness Policy Forum is part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week.
Projects
Aquawareness
Currently PIXYZ is creating the first episodes of the vision animation. This vision animation, based on the vision text will translate complex water issues into easily understandable everyday terms visualizing what to do to become a sustainable and water conscious citizen.
Climate Change Adaptation
Around Europe, numerous activities are undertaken on Climate Change Adaptation and Water. However, coordination and cooperation between these projects is mostly lacking, which causes a lot of potential to be unused. Sharing of experiences and best practices is clearly needed by setting up a European Dialogue which will focus on raising awareness, exchanging experiences and best practices between all stakeholders. It will be a focal point for coordination in Europe, as well as towards the outside world.
European Water House
Based on the principles of the Water Vision for Europe, the European Water House is being established as to make it visible and applicable, to demonstrate that working together with private and public structures, local, regional, national and European institutions may turn these principles into a coherent reality for a sustainable future. It will be the venue where concepts, policies and debates are presented in a concrete visible manner, demonstrating the vast potential of appropriate water technology and its practical and educational applications.
